1. What does your service provide?
I will add new employees to your payroll software, file new hire reports with the state, make required deposits to state and federal agencies, file all state and federal reports required per the unique schedule, and issue W-2s at year end.
2. How do you charge?
I use 2 sources of input to determine your price: number of employees and your pay period used.
3. Will you handle child support deductions and payments?
Yes
4. What is the difference between an employee and a contractor?
A lot actually, none of which depends on how few hours a worker may give you. Its based on the relationship between the employer and the worker. It’s important that the business owner understand this so as to avoid penalties down the road.
